Sebastopol Water Information Group's [SWiG] monitors selected wells around Sebastopol and advocates for protecting clean and sustainable water supplies throughout Sonoma County.

Located in Sonoma County, California, Jane Nielson, a professional retired geologist in charge of the SWiG website. As a contractor for Unet Design, I was fortunate enough to redesign their website with updated content and images. From 2010 to the present. SWiG members have represented Laguna-area well owners on panels for locally-directed groundwater management planning, making important contributions to the Santa Rosa Plain Groundwater Management Plan (GWMP) .

This project involved a reorganization of old information to make it more accessible, provide a better way to access their quarterly newsletter as well as implement a Google Calendar that the client could update after the project had been completed.

Jane had a strict budget to work within as SWiG is a project of the 501(c)(3) O.W.L. Foundation (Open-space, Water, and Land Protection) Foundation, and both groups are founding members of the Sonoma County Water Coalition (SCWC). Additionally, I was able to meet their needs within their time frame as well.

I still maintain the site with updates to their monthly newsletter.
